Internet Addiction: How Men And Women Compare

There are lots of assumptions on what different genders consider important and/or how they spend their time online. While the superfluous battle of the sexes continues, some people actually crunched the numbers and found out some surprising things about gender differences across the Web. See for yourself what we do online in an infographic by Broadband Expert. The survey was conducted on July 2012 with 1029 respondents of both sexes.

I personally was surprised to find out that women spend almost as much effort in gaming online as men do. It is a general assumption to believe that gaming is a male-dominated arena. What did you find surprising? Tell us in the comments section!

    Well, when people assume that women watch soaps all day, I was surprised that men watch more tv than women. Usually women are believed to stay home, while men win the bread, so I noticed that women find work more important a little bit more than men. Also, like you, I was surprised that women find gaming interesting almost as men do.
